We are looking for Customer Interaction and Digital Sales Solution Architect to join our international & development minded IT team!

Solution Architect

Paulig is embarking into a large strategic program which purpose is to harmonize business processes and unify IT landscape, where you will have an important role to drive the transition into a completely new IT architecture.

Your position is in the Customer Interaction & Digitalization team, which develops and operates Paulig’s IT services and solutions supporting all the layers related to smooth customer and consumer experience and satisfaction. This includes all the tools and platforms used for Customer and Consumer Insights, Product Innovation, Product and Brand Portfolio Management, Marketing, Sales and Customer Experience and Relationship Management, Field Sales, Customer Service and all digital touchpoints exposed to our customers and consumers.

As a sales & digital experience solution architect, you lead the development of business solutions creating the technical capability to run the day-to-day business processes and operations of our sales and marketing environment. You facilitate and support IT and business stakeholders as main responsible of gathering the business- and technical requirements, impact assessments and cost models to engineer them into an end-to-end executable design that facilitates business success.

Main expertise areas: digital touchpoints enabling Paulig’s Commercial Digitalization including CRM, e-commerce, commercial product information, digital marketing, and digital asset management (DAM)

Your key responsibilities

  • Ensure that IT processes are followed and select suitable delivery model for development (agile, waterfall, devops, POC, pilot, prototyping etc)
  • Maintain a high-level, holistic vision of enterprise solutions (application architecture), roadmap and development initiatives of the IT portfolio within own area.
  • Collaboration in Paulig enterprise architecture team to align and develop Paulig core architecture
  • Solution architect is gatekeeper for DoR and DoD and selects what must be done
  • Business and non-functional requirement capture together with solution owner and key stakeholders
  • Technical analysis and design to meet the development needs as specified in the functional requirements
  • Select technologies and validate designs and related development/implementation costs
  • Provide key input for the creation and maintenance of overall IT architecture
  • Ensure the compliance, security and continuity requirements of the solution

Do you have the skills we are looking for?

  • A clear understanding of business architecture standards/policies
  • Strong collaboration capability and ability to leverage experience and expertise to influence across organizational lines
  • Credentialed expert in sales and marketing environment and a self-starter with a demonstrated track record in documenting digital sales and marketing technology vision, articulating specific recommendations and driving them through to achieve measurable value.
  • Good understanding and experience of implementing CRM solutions and using that to architect holistic solutions to sales and marketing area.
  • Capable of clearly communicating the technical aspects, risks, challenges, and selling points of the solution
  • Mastery of software development process and technical skills
  • Capable of shaping, designing and managing a solution comprehensively

What we appreciate

  • Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent area
  • 5+ years of experience with development/implementation of sales and marketing solutions
  • Team player attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Communicative and ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization and to work both independently and in various team settings
  • Good influencing and negotiation skills

The job is permanent and located in one of our modern offices in Helsinki, Finland, Mölndal or Gothenburg in Sweden or Roeselare, Belgium. Our hybrid work principle flexibly combines both working remotely and in the office.

The first interview

We are curious about your story! In the initial interview you tell us all about your expectations, motivation, experience, and competences. We are also transparent in what we expect and are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Online test

If the first interview went well, the next step involves completing several tests online at home, which gives us an even clearer picture of you. We then discuss the results together.

The second interview

If the results of the test are positive, you then proceed to the second interview. There you will meet with your potential manager to discuss specifically the position you are applying for and the team you would be working with. This way you will quickly know if everything fits and feels right.

Test day

If everything seems to fit well and you want to work in production, we then plan a test day where you will work and spend a paid day with your potential colleagues and manager. If you want to work in a support function, we plan a day with assessments. This way, we can determine whether all the ingredients are present for a successful collaboration.

Contract discussion

If the final evaluation is positive on both sides, we will make you a contract proposal. It can be either interim, fixed-term or indefinite. If you sign, you will receive a real welcome presentation and you will be all set to become a Pauligian. Welcome!

Food safety and hygiene are extremely important at a food company, but the safety of our people is an absolute priority as well.

Therefore, you need to follow several basic training courses (via e-learning) as soon as possible in order to learn the best practices in the field of HACCP, safety, and prevention.

During your first months at Paulig you will be completing step by step the specific e-training plan for your position.

For example, training to safely operate a forklift or BA4 safety training. Throughout this period, there are several evaluation moments. This is to ensure that all parties involved know that everything is going smoothly. If you want, we can adjust your personal training plan where ever necessary.
